New issuer launches with first actively managed equity ETFs.

29 June 2012. FRANKFURT (Börse Frankfurt). Four actively managed equity ETFs from the new issuer Swiss & Global Asset Management are now tradable on Xetra.

The new Julius Bär Smart Equity ETFs enable investors to participate in actively managed portfolios where the investment objective focuses on generating a yield in excess of the respective benchmark. Stocks are selected based on a systematically developed trend- and value-strategy approach and are then subjected to qualitative examination. The trend strategy uses technical indicators in order to identify price anomalies that are attributable to typical patterns of investor behaviour. The value strategy identifies price anomalies that emerge from valuation criteria for a particular share.

The product offering in Deutsche Börse’s active ETF segment currently comprises a total of 5 active ETFs.
